Del Webb at Mirehaven
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Located in one of Albuquerque’s most spectacular natural settings, Mirehaven provides a unique master-planned residential community on Albuquerque’s West Side. The design highlights ample open space, over 6 miles of on-site trails, and direct access to the 7,200-acre Petroglyph National Monument and its trail systems – a feature highlighted as an important amenity to residents.
Bohannan Huston provided survey, civil engineering, and construction management and oversight for this development. The team faced many design challenges including undulating terrain and proximity to the Petroglyph National Monument. The property is bisected by the Mirehaven Arroyo, which was improved and developed as a private, multi-use open space corridor that provides recreational amenities. Bohannan Huston also provided site infrastructure engineering on the 890+ residential lots and the 10,000 sf Del Webb Amenity Center. Within the master plan, the family-oriented portion has multiple pocket parks with play areas, multi-use trails, and a combination of one- and two-story homes.
The Mirehaven community is in a highly desirable location in close proximity to major thoroughfares including Interstate 40 and Paseo del Norte Blvd. Also nearby is the Nusenda Westside Stadium, a 110-acre athletic complex and track and field facility and the newly constructed Albuquerque Regional Sports Complex.
