The impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19) to the health of employees and businesses are being felt worldwide. As we continue to monitor the situation related to the coronavirus outbreak, we are implementing strategies to minimize the risk of exposure to the virus, while also continuing the important work that our clients have entrusted to us. Relative to the “stay at home” orders that have been issued by state and local governments, nearly all of our project work is categorized as essential. Nevertheless, the vast majority of our employees are now working from home – we have deployed additional equipment and upgraded our internet service in order to maximize the degree to which our staff are able to work productively from home. Because our work is essential, those whose jobs cannot be performed from home are continuing to work in their normal locations (field, materials lab and a small number in the office) while taking prudent protective and preventive measures to minimize health risks.
