SANTA ANA PUEBLO ARSENIC TREATMENT FACILITY
Location: Pueblo of Santa Ana Reservation, New Mexico
Arsenic contanimant levels had historically exceeded the mandated federal criteria within the Pueblo’s two drinking water wells east of I-25. Working with the Pueblo, IHS needed to correct the deficiency to comply with the Drinking Water Standards as soon as possible. Bohannan Huston was contracted to perform a PER for the Pueblo, followed by design and construction of the recommended improvements. Our construction administration team was responsible for managing onsite inspection and project management, construction document coordination, various progress meetings, milestone inspections and close coordination with the Contractor’s supervisor for testing and commissioning. Final closeout efforts included final punch list, warranty documentation, as-builts and O&M manual preparation.
