To diversify its renewable energy portfolio, PNM initiated its Solar Sites Program that included the development of new solar energy centers throughout New Mexico. The resource additions for 2014 and 2015 included six new photovoltaic generating sites, including: Meadow Lake in eastern Valencia County, Sandoval in southern Sandoval County, Cibola in eastern Cibola County, Otero near Tularosa in northern Otero County, and the South Valley and Santolina facilities in Bernalillo County. BHI provided all survey and civil engineering services for these sites including topographic surveys, boundary and ALTA surveys, site selection analysis, site grading and drainage, access and road design, and data and plan set integration. The team provided quality deliverables at each phase of development, by managing expedited design and construction deadlines. With the help of the team, PNM is now able to provide 106.6 megawatts of solar power to its customers.
