Situated on 433 acres in Rio Rancho, the Loma Colorado neighborhood includes 825 single family dwelling units and nearly 500,000 square feet of retail, commercial, office, and light industrial space. BHI prepared conceptual designs for the site layout—including water and wastewater systems, as well as site grading and drainage—and performed a Master Plan Traffic Analysis. Roadway improvements included four roundabout intersections within the neighborhood as well as improvements to numerous off-site intersections to keep traffic flowing in, out, and around the subdivision.
