City of Albuquerque Bicycle Map
Since 2005, BHI’s Images Plus group has produced the vividly illustrated map for bicyclists in the Albuquerque metropolitan area. Albuquerque has more than 400 miles of bicycle facilities and trails. Each year the map undergoes a redesign and update for the ever-changing city.
Grant County Airport
The Runway 8-26 Rehabilitation project required fast-track construction and full-time construction observation to ensure rapid project completion.
Clovis Effluent Re-use Project
The Clovis Effluent Reuse Project is a critical project to help the City of Clovis reduce withdrawals from the Ogalalla aquifer.
The Catwalk Project
The Catwalk Trail Reconstruction re-established a historical gem that had been decimated by fires and burn-scar flooding in 2013.
Las Cruces High School
The Las Cruces High School Phase I Renovations project is part of an $80M phased renovation and remodeling of the existing 60-year-old campus.
Lakewood Earthen Berm Detention Facility
BHI designed an innovative and naturalistic detention pond that attenuates the flood waters of the upstream basin.
JeffCo Pedestrian Bridge
Bohannan Huston, along with teammates Geocal and Pinyon, provided structural, electrical, drainage, geotechnical, environmental, roadway engineering, survey, and right-of-way services to construct the JeffCo Light Rail Station Pedestrian Bridge.
MRCOG 2014
BHI’s services for 2014 included digital orthophotography for an area centered in Bernalillo County and smaller surrounding areas.
CDOT Training
BHI provided expertise in the following: configuration, workflows, training, custom programming and support to ensure a smooth transition to a new platform for CDOT.
MLK Blvd. Bikeways Improvements
This project’s main focus was to add a bike lane under I-25 and improve the entire corridor for bicycles and pedestrians in Albuquerque.
Paseo Del Norte/I-25 Interchange Reconstruction
Teamed with Kiewit, BHI was the lead design firm for the design-build reconstruction of this over-capacity interchange in Albuquerque.
Calabacillas Arroyo Grade Control Structure 7a
The BHI team worked together to meet and exceed all project demands: designing and constructing a drop structure that fit into the arroyo confined area and also tied into the existing arroyo topography and surroundings.
Navajo Nation Justice Centers
BHI provided various services for three Justice Centers for the Navajo Nation.
ABQ Uptown
BHI provided ABQ Uptown with traffic analysis and site surveying services, along with the design of roadways, water, sewer and storm drainage facilities, both on and off site.
I-40/Exit 102 Interchange Reconstruction
BHI designed an innovative interchange concept for I-40/Exit 102 near Acoma Pueblo that incorporated roundabout intersections at the ramps and facilitated the efficient movement of traffic.
Santa Ana Pueblo Arsenic Treatment Facility
Our construction administration team was responsible for managing onsite inspection and project management, construction document coordination, various progress meetings, milestone inspections and close coordination with the Contractor’s supervisor for testing and commissioning.
Missouri Ave. Corridor Study
This study analyzed various existing roadway connections through in southern New Mexico.
PNM Solar Sites
BHI provided all survey and civil engineering services for these New Mexico sites including topographic surveys, boundary and ALTA surveys, site selection analysis, site grading and drainage, access and road design, and data and plan set integration.
Mirehaven Arroyo Improvements
The BHI team completed a drainage master plan and designed the improvements for the arroyo modifications that support the future backbone drainage infrastructure for the Mirehaven community.
Centennial High School
BHI’s survey and engineering team supported the architectural lead and resolved unique challenges at the site.
NMDOT On-Call Photogrammetry
Under the NMDOT Statewide Photogrammetry and Mapping contract, BHI provided several task order requests for aerial triangulation, planimetric mapping, DTM and color orthophotography services for various areas and corridors around the state.
I-40 Trail and Gail Ryba Memorial Bridge
Bohannan Huston (BHI) was chosen by the City of Albuquerque to design this project, which provides a vital link between the pedestrian trails west of the Rio Grande with the Paseo Del Bosque Recreation Trail.
Loma Colorado
BHI prepared conceptual designs for the site layout—including water and wastewater systems, as well as site grading and drainage—and performed a Master Plan Traffic Analysis.
