Las Cruces High School
Summary
The Las Cruces High School Phase I Renovations project is part of an $80M phased renovation and remodeling of the existing 60-year-old campus—located at the intersection of El Paseo Rd. and Boutz Rd. in Las Cruces, NM. Work has included building new classrooms and administrative offices, a bus drive, a parent drive, a student parking lot, and an athletic field. Originally built in 1953 and located on an undersized site by today’s standards, the existing campus experienced issues with aging infrastructure, drainage, traffic congestion and limited parking, and inadequate playfield space. The BHI engineering team developed site infrastructure improvement to connect an expansion area to the existing campus and devised creative solutions to the longstanding concerns around the campus.
