A small group from BHI Albuquerque volunteered at Roadrunner Foodbank on Friday, Dec 7^th – they packed 4,500 lbs of canned foods! Roadrunner Foodbank feeds 70,000 hungry people each week and distributes more than 30 million pounds of food every year. It was incredibly rewarding to support an organization that has been combating hunger and poverty in New Mexico for over 35 years.
