Bohannan Huston Names New Vice President
Bohannan Huston, Inc. (BHI) announced a new addition to its leadership team earlier this month. Ted Barela was promoted to vice president in the Construction Engineering/Construction Augmentation group. Ted is a former New Mexico Department of Transportation construction inspector and project manager responsible for overseeing major construction projects for the Department. His exceptional working knowledge of construction, design, and maintenance has been invaluable to BHI’s team and clients. Ted joined BHI in 2013 after a distinguished 26-year career in state government.
Since retiring from the Department, he has continued to support the organization by developing training and mentoring for Department employees. In addition, his experience in local government, including serving his community as town Trustee and Mayor, shows that his commitment to his community runs deep.
“Our leadership development and transition process are one of the long-term strengths of Bohannan Huston. We extend our congratulations to Ted and look forward to his leadership contributions toward BHI’s mission of improving the quality of life for our customers, communities, and future generations.”– Bruce Stidworthy, CEO
