Bohannan Huston Ranks on NM Top Private Companies List

Bohannan Huston has ranked yet again on another Top Firms list. BHI came in at #25 on New Mexico’s Top Private Companies list as put together by Albuquerque Business First, moving up from #28 the previous year. BHI is also listed as the #9 largest employer on the list with 198 New Mexico employees at the time the data was submitted. While the rankings were compiled using 2019 information, the editors were interested in firms’ current experiences and lessons learned during this year’s Covid-19 pandemic.

Representing BHI, as one of the oldest private companies, Bruce was asked to share his thoughts on what he believes is the key to maintaining resilience for a company and was quoted in the article. Bruce offered the following advice:

“I would offer 3 primary keys to long term resilience:

• Do work that you love doing: We love that our projects have a long term positive impact on the communities we serve and that motivates us every day. Our mission statement captures this idea: ‘To improve the quality of life for our customers, communities, and future generations by delivering solutions that enhance the natural and built environments.’
• Strong Client Relationships: A very high percentage of our work is with repeat clients, and a very significant portion have been clients of ours for decades.
• Staff: We know that our employees are the key to our success and we strive to make BHI a great place to work.”
