Bohannan Huston Announces CFO Transition
The Bohannan Huston, Inc. (BHI) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Louis J. Hernandez, MBA, has been named Chief Financial Officer. He takes over for Kerry Davis, PE, MBA, who has served in this position since 2002. Under Kerry’s tenure, the company has seen growth and success under his leadership and direction. As a key member of BHI’s C-Suite, he played a central role in leading the firm to sustainable growth and developing a systemic and robust financial reporting structure to help guide and inform the firm’s key decisions.
BHI Board of Directors issued a statement: “We would like to express our appreciation and thank Kerry for his years of dedicated service, leadership, and advice over the past 20 years as our CFO. Kerry leaves a legacy of success, and his career parallels much of BHI’s storied history. His leadership style – leading by example and with the utmost integrity – has inspired many. We are very thankful that he will be around for another year – when he departs BHI, he will be greatly missed by the staff and partners.”
Louis J. Hernandez previously held a position as Managing Principal for BHI’s Advanced Technologies Division. Louis was integral in establishing the managed IT service company, EnvisionIT Solutions (EnvisionITSolutions.com), a division of Bohannan Huston. Louis has served on BHI’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors for many years and has been with BHI for 25 years. In his new role, Louis oversees all administrative groups and the accounting functions of BHI, including the firm’s project accounting and financial reporting systems. He brings diverse experience within the fields of Information Technology, general business management, facilities management, and human resource management. Louis holds an MBA in Business Administration, a BS in Information Technology, and an AAS in Electronics Engineering Technology.
BHI President Bruce Stidworthy gave the following statement about the transition: “During his career at Bohannan Huston, Louis has shown proven leadership abilities and a forward-looking, strategic mindset. His demonstrated leadership will be a great asset to the BHI C-Suite, and we look forward to his contributions.” Incoming CFO Louis Hernandez remarked, “I am both excited and humbled by this appointment, and I look forward to this next chapter in my career.”
