Amit has extensive experience navigating the civil engineering challenges of many different project types, including facilities for education, healthcare, and federal government entities. He emphasizes collaborative coordination among the different design disciplines to lead a team and the project to success. He holds a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accreditation, underscoring his expertise in green building practices and sustainable design for LEED-certified projects. Amit is committed to implementing eco-friendly solutions like low-impact development and green stormwater infrastructure to promote environmental sustainability.

Andrew Swartswalter, PE

Andrew Swartswalter, PE, promoted to Vice President, Water Systems – Andrew is a skilled professional in municipal infrastructure development across New Mexico and has notably assisted numerous small communities in New Mexico in enhancing their water and wastewater distribution systems. As a Project Manager and Engineer, he focuses on applying current and innovative design knowledge to solve present-day issues while considering future challenges. His expertise, with a focus on utility system design, including booster stations, water systems, wastewater systems, and reuse water conveyance, extends to navigating various funding sources, understanding contract intricacies, and ensuring projects are successfully bid and awarded. Derrick Webb, AICP, promoted to Vice President, Planning – Derrick Webb is a Senior Planner on BHI’s Planning team. Steve Lenti

Steve Lenti, promoted to Vice President, Envision IT Solutions – Steve leads the operations at Envision IT Solutions (EITS), BHI’s information technologies division. As the director of operations and systems manager, he guides a dedicated team of system analysts who provide top-notch IT support to clients, including maintaining and upgrading computers, servers, and network environments. Steve ensures smooth operations by overseeing the help desk and leading project management for client-specific IT projects. He stays at the forefront of IT security, keeping clients informed and protected against cyber threats. His leadership ensures clients receive efficient, secure, and up-to-date IT solutions.
