Bohannan Huston is pleased to welcome Neal Bohnen, PE, to the firm as a Senior Structural Project Manager based in our Grand Junction office. Neal brings more than 16 years of experience in structural engineering, project management, and leadership to BHI, expanding the firm’s structural engineering capabilities for clients across Colorado.

His project experience spans municipal, aviation, education, healthcare, civic, hospitality, mixed-use, office, residential and transportation facilities, as well as structural renovation and restoration projects. He has worked with a broad range of structural systems and materials, including structural steel, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, precast concrete, masonry, mass timber and both shallow and deep foundation systems.

Neal earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Colorado State University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado and Utah and a licensed structural engineer in Arizona. His addition strengthens the structural engineering expertise available to BHI clients throughout Colorado, supporting the firm’s continued growth and work along the Front Range, in Denver, on the Western Slope, and across the state.

Outside of engineering, Neal enjoys mountain biking, spending time outdoors with his family, and being involved with his church and his community.
